Weaning time is here!
20.12.2009
The eldest of our 2009 foals are now being weaned as they are both just over 4 months old. 'Talk About A Touchdown' and 'Locomotion' have become great pals in the paddock with their mums and will be weaned together. Both the mares will then be heading back down to Victoria - 'Poetry In Motion' to her new owner and 'Talk About Shameless' back down to Triple B Stud. Both mares are well in foal and looking good.

The youngest foal, Mr Macho (who we have nick-named 'Mighty Mouse') will be weaned later in January we he also turns 4 months old.

We are very pleased with all our foals this year (despite the lack of colour!) and all are shaping up nicely. 'Locomotion' is a very pretty palomino boy and a lovely mover - he will look gorgeous under saddle there is no doubt.

'Talk About A Touchdown' is going to be tall and big - she is dark liver chestnut and a real sweety. She has a small patch we have to investigate - but it looks like it may not be large enough for her to regular register.

The surprise package is 'Mr Macho' - no wonder his uncle was called 'Mighty Awesome' if he looked anything like this as a baby! He really is awesome with unbelievable natural muscle and so sweet and friendly. He is a deep mahogany colour - such a shame his stockings just don't reach far enough!

"I've finished mine, can I have some of yours?"

All foals are for sale - I am in the process of getting their individual pages up, with more pics and full pedigrees. They are just coming out of the 'moth-eaten foal coat stage' so standby for new pics.

'Distinction' Off to New Home
01.11.2009
'Distinction' is off to a new home on the South Coast of NSW! He has been purchased by Sue Elliot of Marouya who plans to use him for some dressage, trail riding and general fun! He will be perfect for that as he is such an obliging and friendly character. We wish Sue and Distinction and long and enjoyable partnership!

After riding 'Distinction' for a couple of weeks, Carolyn said she believed he could do anything set before him - he has that sort of kind and easy going personality.
Carolyn, 'Distinction' and Carolyn's neighbour and friend from Putty, Chris, check out the photos they have taken.

Carolyn is a very successful and Nationally recognised dressage trainer. She recently moved to a new larger property in Putty in the Upper Hunter Valley. You can read more about Carolyn, her horses and accomplishments at www.carolynhenley.com.au

All Dressed Up In English!
20.10.2009

'Super Natural' has attended his first show in New Zealand all decked out in English attire! As you can see Tania did a beautiful job of presenting him and he reportedly gained many more admirers.

Tania was delighted with Super Natural's first ever outing and his excellent behaviour. She is looking forward to taking him to a string of shows between now and Christmas on the South Island.

Tania's website is arcodalodge.co.nz
