| 'Sheza Grand Sensation' or 'May' as we call her, is owned by Jane. When 'May' was born, Jane was 14 and she has handled and trained May since that time. May is seriously gorgeous and thinks she is the most important member of the family (which she probably is). We all know she is really a person wrapped up in a horse skin!
In 2005 Jane and May had fun together throughout the year at home, at Pony Club and at the PHAA Youth Convention at Grafton. When Jane went off to university in 2006 we took the opportunity to put May in foal - first to the wonderful sire 'Tribulation' (imp/dec) and then to the ASB dressage stallion 'Cool Cat'. First was a sweet gelding named 'Distinction' and second a pretty filly named 'Tuppence'. Tuppence was purchased by Kristina Hambly of Helensburgh who plans to train her for dressage. Last year Jane stayed some months with the Schwartzenberger family in Colorado to gain more experience with reining horses. So now she wants her own little reiner! The exciting news is that May is now in foal to 'The Big Gun' (USA) who is a tobiano son of the legendary 'Gunner' ('Colonel's Smoking Gun') with semen we purchased from Diamond MR Ranch, also in Colorado. She is due to foal in late October 2012.  Her mum is our favourite old girl - the Quarter Horse mare 'Shines Olivia' - known affectionately as 'Mother Gorgeous' - she has had a bunch of 'Shameless foals' all of whom are gorgeous.
